About

Tyneside Women’s Health is a charity and was set up in 1985 to provide mental health support to women in a women-only environment.

Our vision is a brighter future for North East women & girls.
To achieve our vision, our mission is to help communities of women & girls in the North East thrive by providing safe, inclusive & compassionate mental health & wellbeing services.

Services help women and girls improve their mental health, reduce social isolation, and help diverse communities participate no matter their mental health or circumstances. Several frontline services are focused on supporting women and girls to recover from adverse life experiences, such as abuse and traumatic events, and the impact this has had on their lives and mental health.
